    As VP, Talent Acquisition, here are your core responsibilities:

    • Attract top talent to apply for Bank positions across the US without the use of agencies
    • Develop strong relationships with your hiring managers to collaborate on the timely filling of their openings with excellent talent
    • Support your managers with recruitment training and on following the Bank's recruitment processes and procedures
    • Form and execute a strong talent acquisition strategy for each of your business units
    • Influence your managers on best practices using data
    • Research and present alternative and practical tools for recruitment
    • Utilize all available networks in the market, to fill open positions quickly and effectively
    • Become an expert in your understanding of the Bank's organizational structure and it's culture and values
    • Build a pipeline of strong talent for the San Diego and additional market locations
    • Ambassador and champion of the Bank's culture and values
    • Qualify high performing candidates and be able to discern from low performers
    • Implement creative initiatives to attract top talent
    • Review and improve the metrics used to determine the Talent Acquisition business unit success where needed
    • Drive the renewal of the recruitment processes and procedures
    • Assist in social media development for recruitment
    • Ad-hoc projects, continued automation and streamlining of recruitment process for all stakeholders

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Skilled in identifying high performing candidates
    • Well-developed communication skills 
    • Invested recruiter
    • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
    • Excel in fast paced, demanding environment with competing priorities
    • Full use of Microsoft suite
    • Manage multiple initiatives effectively not losing the details
    • Large dose of common sense
    • Proponent of accountability
    • Innovative implementer
    • Self-directed

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • 10+ years' direct recruiting locally and nationally
    • Banking and/or financial services
    • LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Social Media 
    • Project management in delivery of projects on time using an ATS and/or CRM system
    • Bachelor's degree
