    Summary/Objective 
    The HR Administrator provides administrative support to the HR function as needed in the following functioning areas: recruitment, on-boarding/off-boarding, payroll, benefits enrollment, and employment law compliance.

    Essential Functions

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Perform recruitment related activities such as; posting job ads, pre-screening and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
    • On-Boarding employees, extending verbal and written offers, administering background checks, conduct orientation, collect and maintain I-9 documentation, and coordinate working schedules with department heads.
    • Be the first point of contact for all employee inquiries as it pertains to, company policies and procedures, benefits administration, employee self-service, payroll administration, etc.
    • Organize and maintain HRIS developing system workflows, working closely with HRIS Account Rep.
    • Oversees and manages the full-cycle administration of leaves of absence
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Manages safety training and initiatives; follows up on any incident reports accordingly
    • Manages the workers’ compensation process at the site level
    • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
    • Provide administrative support on a variety HR projects and initiatives as needed including but not limited to employee appreciation events, employee recognition, diversity, new hire orientation, company-wide meetings, leadership training, organizational design, and performance management

    Required Education and Experience

    1.       3-5 years of human resources experience.

    2.       3-5 years of experience using HRIS

    3.       Proficiency using excel and generating reports

    4.       Thorough knowledge of labor laws


    Preferred Education and Experience

    1.       Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

    2.       HR Certificate (ie. SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR)

    3.       Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred not required.
