    Aspen Neuroscience is looking for a Senior HR Generalist with a desire to help build a world class organization focused on bringing our autologous cell therapy platform to patients in need. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where collaboration and performance are rewarded.

    This role administers day-to-day activities, programs and projects for multiple key HR Operations functions including employee changes and transactions, payroll, policy interpretation, total rewards and compensation, compliance, talent programs and employee engagement. Advises on a variety of requests from employees and managers. Collaborates internally to develop and deliver HR programs and solutions to increase employee engagement and achieve company and HR team goals. Supports human resources technology, systems, processes, and initiatives.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Advises and processes employee changes related to new hires, promotions and transfers, leaves and separations. Oversees regular payroll processing to ensure changes are captured in the system.
    • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
    • Develops, coordinates and recommends changes for the improvement of workflow for various processes including technology solutions.
    • Supports compensation programs in line with established philosophy and guidelines for a variety of annual and ongoing requests including job descriptions, pay adjustments, salary survey participation, market review, incentive and special pay programs.
    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance and supports workforce planning and succession planning. Manages and resolves employee relations issues and requests. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention through a variety of methods including executing on company-wide engagement programs.
    • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports, analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
    • Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures and recommends adjustments as needed.
    • Supports talent programs including supporting and conducting recruiting activities, performance management processes and learning and development programs as required.
    • Works on special projects.

    Education & Experience

    • Five years of related human resources experience.
    • Experience in biotechnology or life sciences preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Hands on experience with a variety of HR technology solutions.

    • Thorough comprehension and ability to interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable federal and state laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
    • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices
    • Knowledge of trends, best practices and methods related to human resources and talent management
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
