    About the Job

    Dudek is looking for a mid-level Talent Acquisition Specialist who is interested in joining an employee owned firm focused on shaping sustainable natural and urban environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about optimizing, streamlining, and carrying out full-cycle recruitment activities. This position will be responsible for continuing to build and lead Dudek’s talent acquisition strategy.

    This position will start working remote and will then be based out of Encinitas, CA.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment, including all aspects of the talent acquisition process: outreach activity, application and resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, reference checks, offer package determination, background checks initiation, and communication with candidates and hiring managers
    • Source candidates and drive selection methods for all levels of positions
    • Manage talent acquisition process in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as company policies
    • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing recruitment strategies focused on diversity, equity and inclusion
    • Responsible for creating and analyzing recruiting metrics and taking action based on results
    • Responsible for evaluating and reporting progress on affirmative action efforts. Oversees development of the Affirmative Action Plan
    • Update, monitor, and disposition new candidates in the applicant tracking system to ensure candidate progression is being tracked properly
    • Work collaboratively with hiring managers and interview teams as a subject matter expert on talent acquisition guidelines, procedures, and best practices
    •  Seek out market and data insight to identify and attract highly qualified talen
    • Promote a positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process
    • Participate in outreach activities, career fairs, and other similar events

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
    • Demonstrated ability working in an ATS, preferably JazzHR
    • Experience using LinkedIn recruiter and other sourcing tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    A/E/C industry recruiting experience preferred, which includes recruiting environmental planners, scientists, engineers, and field professionals

    • In-house (corporate) recruitment experience ideal
    • Strong computer skills including intermediate-to-advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task is a must
    • Experience with Affirmative Action Plan reporting and compliance
    • Ability to create and manage strategic partnerships and drive the hiring process
    • Collaborative nature with strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
    • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
