Working Better as Hybrid Teams

Creating Shared Commitments Through Team Norms

The global pandemic has changed our relationship with work and the workplace. Most importantly it has changed the way we relate and connect with our colleagues. As we adapt to the resulting change many organizations are drafting policies and procedures to redefine our work experience. But who really owns the new behaviors we wish to create? And how do we decide what is the right experience for one person or for many? Allowing team members to reset and redefine their own team norms provides greater ownership and autonomy to individuals, and surfaces themes within your work culture that an organization can leverage in shaping their future.

What will participants learn?

  • Understand the role HR leaders play in resetting team norms.
  • Gain clarity on how to define ownership for various types of expectations.
  • Define links between team norms and organizational values, habits, and beliefs.

Speaker:

Chris Good has over 20 years’ experience solving for workplace culture and design challenges. In addition to his work serving corporate enterprise clients as the Chief Creative Officer for One Workplace, he has served with IDEO as a build partner for the Teachers Guild, Michelle Obama’s Better Make Room Campaign, and with the Unreasonable Group; a business accelerator for global entrepreneurs.
