While employees are typically eager for feedback and managers want their teams to excel, the annual review process doesn’t always achieve the desired goals. Annual reviews can also take a tremendous amount of time and focus away from progress toward goals. As a result, the review process can become an exercise in frustration for all involved.

Cindy Lewis is the Manager of Learning and Capability for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA).
Cindy Lewis is the Manager of Learning and Capability for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA). With almost 20 years of experience in workplace learning and organizational development she has expertise in performance management, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, change management and customer service. Prior to working for SDCRAA, Lewis worked as a community learning and adjunct instructor for Grossmont Cuyamaca and San Diego Community College Districts. Her corporate experience includes being the San Diego/Arizona regional trainer for Nordstrom. She holds a doctorate in education from a joint program with San Diego State University and the University of San Diego.
Adriana Kennedy is a Senior Culture & Organizational Development Analyst for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA).
Adriana Kennedy is a Senior Culture & Organizational Development Analyst for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA). With over five years of experience in human resources and the public sector, she has a wide variety of knowledge and experience in organizational development & training, employee relations and recruitment. Currently, she oversees performance management for SDCRAA, is responsible for the development and integration of the Authority’s Career Development Program, and partners with key stakeholders to administer, analyze and identify action items for the organization-wide employee engagement survey, OURVoice. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from California State University Long Beach.
