Recruiting and Interviewing in the Post “Great Recession” World! A Reliable Formula Identifying High-Probability Hires

Eight years after the Great Recession of 2008 reared its ugly head globally, we’re continuing to see the job market heat up and competition for top talent abound.  Sophisticated interviewing techniques are necessary to ensure “high probability” hires, and a consistent methodology exists to walk you through the hiring process step-by-step!  This session will highlight questioning techniques to help you assess candidates’:

  • Compatibility with your department’s culture
  • Reasons for leaving past positions as the link in their career progression
  • Technical skills match and gap analysis
  • Desired pace, structure, ability to accept constructive criticism, and willingness to work long hours

Whether you’re hiring sales professionals, campus recruits, or senior executives, we’ll address the importance of building an immediate rapport that allows candidates to be themselves so that each new relationship creates and strengthens a bond of trust.  And we’ll likewise touch on strategies for maximizing references as well as making the offer and closing the deal. And best of all, you’ll be able to use this material as soon as you return to the office and train your leadership teams quickly and effectively!
