Building better TA Systems: The Imperative is Now!
An imperative corporate HR initiative is attracting and retaining qualified talent in an era of talent shortages. With the unemployment rate nationally at 5%, the employment marketplace is increasingly candidate-driven, requiring employers who claim or aspire to “best in class” employer status to quickly shift their hiring strategies.
Regardless of size or industry organizations must execute on a well-defined recruitment process, powered by technology for efficiency and speed, to ensure consistent and repeatable hiring performance throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Surprisingly, data by which an organization can assess its hiring effectiveness against competing employers and measure its performance outcomes is scarce and incomplete. To provide a data solution Eastridge Workforce Solutions launched a nationwide survey of recruitment practices, with 200 companies responding. Results yield opportunity for process improvement in recruitment processes and metrics, technology, and internal communication with hiring managers.
