    ABOUT THE JOB

    The Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will serve as a key member of GreatCall’s Organizational Development Team with the goal to enhance and advance talent capability.  This position will help drive the culture of career growth, promote talent mobility and enhance employee engagement across the business by partnering with HR colleagues and business leaders. The Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will participate in the design, development, and delivery of OD initiatives that support the Meaningful Work culture and brand in alignment with business objectives, values, and vision.  This individual communicates, coordinates, co-designs, facilitates and tracks the development and success of each initiative, and adjusts the strategy as needed to elevate the employee experience.  This position formulates meaningful relationships across the business to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees by way of talent management and development of teams, mentoring, providing counsel, and developing strategies and activities to improve attraction, performance and retention of exceptional talent.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    •            Partners with HR and business leaders to diagnose, develop and deliver training programs and/or interventions that help build and maximize exceptional talent

    •            Assists with the ideation and development, design, and implementation of scalable organizational development programs, resources, and tools to identify needs and create talent and leadership development strategies

    •            Determines appropriate instructional methods, materials, and assessments for optimal retention of knowledge (in-person, eLearning, etc.)

    •            Develops creative new ways to design and deliver self-directed or blended learning solutions

    •            Provides performance management guidance including coaching, counseling, career development, succession planning and training and development

    •            Develops, facilitates and manages new leadership and employee training programs as well as re-designs existing programs to meet changing conditions or audiences

    •            Proactively recommends organizational development plans to leadership including: team building ideas, onboarding programs, course facilitation, employee engagement surveying, workforce planning and people development

    •            Coaches and develops individual contributors and leaders across the business

    •            Evaluates the feedback from assessments, surveys, observations, and feedback to determine the effectiveness of current training and update curriculum as necessary

    •            Support class tracking in the eLearning system, and provides follow-up support to employee questions

    •            Contribute to the evaluation, development and delivery of the employee recognition programs

    •            Recommend improvements to include procedural, policy, system, product and service and adjust as necessary

    •            Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor's degree required; preference for Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Instructional design, or relative field of study

    Certification(s): PHR, SPHR, ODCP or TMCP Preferred

    Experience:

    •            Minimum 5 years of relevant Organizational Development or Talent Management experience required

    •            Prior experience developing and delivering leadership development learning programs, instructional design and adult learning principles required

    •            Prior experience leading, and / or coaching others required

    •            Prior experience administering a Learning Management Systems preferred

    •            Prior experience in Human Resources preferred

    •            Program and project management experience

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    •            Advanced Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

    •            General knowledge of human resources disciplines including employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws, payroll and benefits, recruitment and organizational development

    •            Requires strong interpersonal and political savvy with the ability to interface with all levels of management on critical and sensitive issues. Must be able to inspire and maintain trust.

    •            Must be action oriented and possess the ability to influence others and outcomes

    •            Embraces and demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and personal development as a role model for clients

    •            Strong consulting/facilitation skills and astute organizational/political awareness are essential

    •            Must be collaborative and able to work in a team-oriented environment

    •            Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

    •            Ability to maintain composure in a stressful environment

    •            Must be able to maintain long-term, big picture view and analyze complex issues to determine root causes and innovative solutions

    •            Requires strong conceptual and analytical skills

    •            Presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and achieve win-win solutions

    •            Ability to be autonomous and operate with limited direction
