Dealing with conflict at work?  Strategies to go from destructive to PRODUCTIVE!

Workplace conflict is inevitable, but the conflict itself is not the problem. The key is how, and if, that conflict is confronted, addressed and resolved. We all have experienced the stress that comes from unresolved co-worker conflicts. Conflicts that are poorly resolved or ignored altogether don’t go away–rather, they cause people to feel resentful and to avoid each other. The company experiences a loss of productivity, which translates into a loss of profitability, absenteeism and turnover. While it might be tempting to simply avoid these uncomfortable situations, there’s a much more effective and productive solution.

Identify the clues of conflict

Conflict is surrounded by telltale destructive behaviors that could be getting in your way. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, learn how to curb destructive behaviors and avert conflict so you can improve relationships, boost productivity and increase results. You will learn why people tend to exhibit certain predictable behaviors when faced with conflict. By increasing self-awareness around these conflict behaviors, you will gain the tools required to effectively and confidently respond to the uncomfortable and seemingly unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict.

How will you and your company benefit?

  • Productivity goes up: Reduced time spent refereeing disagreements and conflicts between team members means more time for productive work.
  • Stress goes down: Problems and conflicts are faced and solved (or averted altogether) instead of ignored or avoided.
  • Comfort level goes up: The workplace opens up because employees feel more comfortable that issues can and will be addressed and resolved.

Don’t let conflict become a barrier to organizational momentum! Let us help you and your team break through this common trap and improve performance across the organization.

As an added benefit, you will receive access to an online assessment tool for a personalized productive conflict profile.
