It’s Time For A Mini-Vacation! How to Reduce Stress, Increase Engagement, and Live More Mindfully

“Sometimes life feels like it’s in fast-forward, imagine being able to hit the pause button."

Session Overview:

Between deadlines, time-clocks, families, friends, relationships, chores, bills, and errands, it is no
surprise that we often feel overwhelmed and unproductive. In fact, in a recent study, 75% of
Americans report experiencing at least one symptom of stress in the past month. Even more
shocking, 91% of Americans report that their overall health is less than excellent. As a whole, we
are overworked, under-supported, and less than happy.

This is a problem. But there is a solution. It’s called a Mini-Vacation.

Imagine being able to let go of the clutter that gets tangled up in our minds. We’d be left with a
sense of space, clarity, and ease that would help us increase focus, increase connection, and
decrease burn-out. Research has found that less stressed, happier employees are more productive
than workers who report being unhappy at work. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to adopt a
mini-vacation mindset, as well as develop specific tools to become more mindful in our
professional and everyday lives, so that we can become happier and healthier at work, at home,
and anywhere we go.

As Human Resources professionals are faced with these challenges inside of their organizations.
This impacts productivity, absenteeism, and culture. This session will provide tools and methods
to help your workforce recognize and pivot towards a more mindful approach to their wellness.

HR professionals will learn:

1. How to implement mindfulness & stress reduction skills anywhere, anytime
2. How to respond to situations skillfully instead of reacting negatively
3. How to teach employees and leaders how to recognize signs before burn-out
4. How to incorporate these tools into wellness plans
5. How to incorporate mini-vacations into company culture
