    Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for day-to-day HR activities at the assigned location.  This person will be a true partner to the business and employees and will work very closely with departmental leaders to ensure compliance and adherence to local and federal laws.  The local HR Business Partner is responsible for leading the implementation and observance of HR policy and procedure.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Demonstrates knowledge of HR practices, guidelines and regulations to monitor and provide advice regarding compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and Company policies, procedures and processes.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.  Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
    • Provides advice to management and responds to employee inquiries.
    • Engages all levels of internal customers in assigned facilities in activities, meetings, special events and handles issues and questions
    • Coach leaders on the link between behaviors and culture while implementing cultural standards into HR practices, processes and ways of working
    • Coordinates performance management programs
    • Collaborates with operational leaders to develop strategic plans and actions to reduce voluntary turnover to goal and increase employee engagement
    • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
    • Participates in HR Assessments as assigned and follows-up/monitors action plans
    • May be involved in projects, such as annual merit process, to deliver guidance and assistance to
    • Other duties as assigned 

    Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:     

    • Minimum of 8 years Human Resources experience
    • 3 - 5 years employee relations experience
    • Fluency in employment law on a city, state and federal level
    • Strong business acumen
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
    • Ability to successfully present information to a group
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Incredible organizational and prioritization skills
    • Ability to work 50% from the local office location and 50% remotely per Company’s Smart-Working Policy. 


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications or a related field. 

    Physical Working Environment: 

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; finger dexterity; talk; hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
