    JOB SUMMARY 

    In partnership with the Director of Administrative Services and the Executive management team, the People Experience Partner will assist to develop and drive the people-focused culture of Excellos. 

    The People Experience Partner proactively ensures a great people experience by implementing efficient and simple people processes and programs. This position carries out responsibilities for the entire employee life cycle, including the following functional areas: talent acquisition; onboarding; employee relations; compliance; payroll, benefits and compensation management; safety and risk management; performance management; career development initiatives and training; organizational development and offboarding. This position will have several foci, which are related to HR administration, people processes and business partnering. This position will build strong relationships, spearhead a performing culture of diversity & inclusion, and make sure collaboration is a top priority for all. The People Experience Partner is the first point of contact for our employees and managers in all employee-related matters. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Design and execute a People Experience (PE) strategy that will translate into daily support of the business. 
    • Fills the daily functions of human resource needs including hiring and interviewing, administering pay, benefits, and leave. 
    • Responsible for a great employee experience from applications, interviews, orientation and employee recognition programs. Ensures timely, efficient turnarounds. 
    • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. 
    • Develop strong recruitment strategies, including collaboration with local co-op and internship opportunities. 
    • Provide expert HR advice and coaching to leaders and colleagues to engage the team and support a high performing business. 
    • Assist to design and implement a robust employee development program. 
    • Ensure employees are treated fairly in the spirit of our people first culture. 
    • Identify development opportunities, implement learning initiatives, and make sure performance is evaluated and reviewed regularly. 
    • Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues and make sure they are anticipated and dealt with as they emerge, and in a sensitive and appropriate manner. 
    • Coach your stakeholders and ensure fair and consistent management practices within teams and across the business. 
    • Achieve business goals with a strong PE strategy. 
    • Able to identify opportunities for improving people processes, programs and frameworks. 
    • Setting our employees and teams up for success by managing & deliver PE solutions in collaboration with cross functional teams. 
    • Analyze employee relations trends, and partner with internal stakeholders to improve our processes and develop proactive strategies, programs, and policies. 
    • Drive and deliver people data and analytics. 
    • Be a culture ambassador and advocate for its adoption across teams, processes and strategies. 
    • Manage the development and enhancement of internal processes (e.g. remote work, performance management and salary reviews, job structures and career ladders, restructures) and take charge of the internal communication around them. 
    • Build trusted relationships with leaders (Managers, Head of departments, and their teams) and advise them on effective team collaboration, people management and culture related topics. 
    • Partner to drive diversity initiatives with consideration for talent movement, I&D dashboards, recruiting and representation as well as targeted development initiatives. 
    • Collaborate to develop I&D action plans in partnership with cross-functional partners. 
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. 
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.  

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    Education & Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. 
    • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience. 
    • Have broad HR Generalist knowledge within the HR field and preferable deeper knowledge and understanding with talent management, employee engagement, organizational culture, and DEI. 
    • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate in a clear and inspiring way. 
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate. 
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. 
    • Have great leadership skills, believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety and trust. 
    • Strong Project Management capabilities. 
    • Strong business acumen. 
    • Demonstrated strategic thinking and complexity management capabilities. 
    • Strong coaching skills and an ability to lead through others.
