    Senior Human Resources Business Partner


    San Diego, CA - Full Time

    About the Job

    Provide strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner support to a variety of groups within Dudek.

    This role will require you to roll up your sleeves and engage in a hands-on approach to manager and employee coaching, mentoring and supervision of junior staff, performance improvement plans, compliance (AAP / EEO), mentoring staff, creating / collaborating on various HR program initiatives, and overall awesomeness.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Play a lead role in Dudek’s people-related initiatives including inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and organization development, change management, employee relations, and compliance.
    • With attention to detail, help guide leadership decisions and proactively identify organizational issues and recommend innovate solutions.
    • Implement and drive human resources policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
    • Provide performance management guidance to managers (coaching, correction action, etc.).
    • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job-releveling.
    • Lead all phases of employee relations and investigations, using best practices and appropriate legal protocols.
    • Manage the offboarding process and exit interviews; provide turnover metrics to the business leaders and make recommendations as appropriate.
    • Lead all compliance activities and reporting including EEO-1, VETS-4212, AAP, etc.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead complex organizational change initiatives in a dynamic environment.
    • Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding human resources.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related discipline and /or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum 7 years of professional human resources, employee relations, compliance, and performance improvement plan experience required.
    • Proven knowledge of HR industry practices, across multiple HR functions.
    • Demonstrated commitment to workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree
    • PHR or SPHR Certification
    • Advanced senior-level human resource experience with demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness.
    • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking capabilities
    • Strong people leadership skills including a desire to develop others
    • Well organized, having deep leadership and managerial skills, and the flexibility and adaptability to be able to change direction instantly to meet the dynamic needs of this growing, changing organization
