    Y our non-profit organization?

    • Manages annual open enrollment process, and works directly with insurance providers and vendors to ensure association goals are being met, and changes/updates to plans are being communicated to employees and management
    • Provides strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of Total Rewards programs, which include health, welfare, wellness, retirement, base pay, incentives, and other rewards
    • Develops Total Rewards philosophy and supporting policies and practices
    • Partners with corporate and subsidiary leadership to leverage compensation and benefits programs to meet organizational objectives
    • Analyzes current benefits, compensation, and rewards programs to ensure alignment with overall business strategy
    • Maintains current knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security act (ERISA), FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, and other applicable Labor and/or Tax laws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting requirements
    • Oversee benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation


    What does this role entail?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other applicable field of study
    • Seven years of Human Resources Management experience with four years’ experience in the compensation and benefits functions
    • PHR, SPHR, and/or CCP certification highly preferred
    • Experience supervising and developing staff
    • Knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations related to benefits/compensation administration
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadliness simultaneously
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • CPR and First Aid certified upon hire and must be from one of the following:
      • American Red Cross
      • American Heart Association
      • American Safety & Health Institute
