Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc., one of the largest Biotech companies in San Diego is looking for a high energy, creative and innovative leader for the Human Resources team. This individual will report to the Director of Human Resources and will manage the design, implementation and maintenance of all SLI policies, procedures and benefits as they relate to Human Resources.
Design, implement and maintain employment policies and procedures for SLI policy manual. Assist/advise management with the interpretation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent application.
Coordinate employee recruitment process and assist management with proper recruiting techniques.
Design and implement supervisory training program.
Responsible for all Employee Relations issues.
Maintain compliance with all Federal and State employment regulations.
Direct all immigration issues, including H-1B Visas, TN applications and Green Cards.
Administration of all SLI benefit plans, including annual bid process and monthly premium statement audits. Make suggestions to management regarding benefit changes, additions or deletions.
Design, implement and maintain plan for Evaluation and Salary Progression system to ensure industry competitiveness, internal equity and fairness to all SLI employees.
Coordinate writing and maintenance of job descriptions.
Conduct employee exit interviews.
Administration of Worker’s Compensation program. Work with safety officer and carrier to actively and aggressively reduce claims.
Other related duties, as required.
High school diploma or equivalent required, BA or BS preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years experience with administration of all aspects of Human Resources Department. Supervisory experience required. Must be able to multi task, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
