    About the role:

    We are seeking a talented Manager/Sr. Manager to own and lead all aspects of benefits and HR Operations at Greenwich Biosciences. As we continue to expand our US operations, this role will ensure that our benefits offerings are rewarding, competitive, and in line with company objectives. It will be responsible for management of all our benefits, partner with the HR team to communicate all benefits-related info to our employees and administer the programs company-wide.  In addition, this role will partner with payroll, finance, and other internal teams to ensure HR operations runs smoothly, providing an exceptional experience to our employees.


             Creates the benefits roadmap and ensures successful and timely execution; ensures that our benefits program attracts/retains talent in a competitive market by keeping pulse on what matters most

             Creates and leads execution of innovative strategies for increasing awareness of our benefit programs and offerings

             Oversees ongoing administration, evaluation, design, and implementation of all benefit programs, including core health & welfare, time off, leaves of absence, relocation, workers compensation and financial

             Fosters close working relationships with others in HR, as well as leaders in key partner organizations such as Legal, Finance, and Payroll

             Ensures successful broker and vendor relationships, including guiding team on best practice vendor management; leads evaluation of potential vendors

             Leads the charge toward increased automation, consistency, documentation, and efficiency across all programs and policies

             Monitor market benchmarks and current trends, as well as internal utilization and costs to ensure benefit offerings remain highly competitive and fiscally responsible; recommend strategies that appropriately address employee needs and company priorities

             Keep current on benefits regulations and new legislation; ensure all programs and policies are legally compliant; and oversee audits and required filings

             Manage day-to-day HR operations of the business, including contracts and compliance

             Coordinate with outside counsel on immigration and visa applications

             Manage employee safety programs, including EH&S

             Provide payroll and SOX support

             May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned


             Bachelor's degree required. Preferred field of study: Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or related field

             Minimum of 7 years benefit and HR operations experience; previous generalist experience is preferred

             Previous experience in life sciences, biotechnology or pharmaceuticals is preferred

             Ability to work with minimal supervision, proactively addressing areas of focus, with a sense of urgency

             Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning new software applications; Experience with Workday, ADP a plus.

             Motivated and driven to deliver results with speed and effectiveness

             Solid project management skills with an ability to keep projects on track and deliver results

             Knowledge of human resources policies and practices, state and federal employment laws

             Exemplary oral and written communication skills

             Successful candidate will be high-energy, possess a learning orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

             Strong communication and change management skills required, in addition to ability to build strong relationships both vertically and horizontally 

             Collaborative in approach and seeks the views and contributions of others in the HR team when required
