    Position Overview
    Curology is currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, motivated individual to join our Human Resources team as our HR Coordinator. This person will support all initiatives within the Human Resources Department with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, HRIS, and training/development for Curology and David Lortscher MD, Inc, also referred to as the Company. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Strong attention to detail, organization skills and exceptional customer service skills required. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing HR Team!

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of all HR data transactions related to employment such as new hires, job changes, pay changes and separations.
    • Provide all necessary communication to Payroll department in regard to any team member
      changes and updates, including new hires.
    • Maintain all personnel files through weekly filing and logging of all pertinent
      information.
    • Assist with Onboarding and Off-boarding surveys. Ensures completion of needed new hire documentation
    • Assists with the execution of HRIS system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and participate in all aspects of system testing.
    • Create and maintain employee personnel files; ensure information in personnel records is accurate and current by thorough filing and auditing of files.
    • Responsible for maintaining I-9 documents in accordance with federal regulations.
    • Supports administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
    • Resolves simple employee benefits-related questions
    • Performs audits and reconciles benefits statements
    • Supports the creation of job descriptions and continually revises descriptions to ensure they stay relevant
    • Maintain the administration of training and development programs
    • Assists and prepares correspondence as requested
    • Supports and maintains Leave of Absence Program and ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
    • Other duties, responsibilities and activities, as needed
    Work Requirements:


    • Office work environment
    • Typing and computer usage throughout the day
    • Typical normal business hours M-F
    • Must lift and carry minimum of 15 lbs.
    • Travel requirements: none

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years’ related work experience, human resources or administrative  
    • Basic knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Benefits practices
    • Must have strong customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and quality work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and employee issues.
    • Self-motivated, adaptable, able to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of California and US Labor and Wage and Hours laws, preferred.
    • Preferred Requirements:
    • Strong comfort in working with payroll systems and Microsoft Office (ADP Workforce Now, Sequoia, Google Drive, Google Forms, and Docusign experience a plus)
    • PHR or SHRM Certification
