    Job Description 


    Support and enhance enterprise-wide performance processes and communications:

    Support the semi-annual performance assessment process, including documentation and communication for promotions, transfers, bonuses and compensation adjustments

    • Assist with the creation of the semi-annual bonus and compensation letters and annual compensation statements
    • Implement the annual employee survey, exit survey, and 360 degree Feedback survey, analyze results recommend course of action
    • Work with team to create and deliver a manager training curriculum
    • Maintain BofI organizational charts
    • Manage HR content on Intranet site
    • Work with HR team to address audit and regulatory requests, as needed  
    • Undertake special projects and duties as directed by the SVP, Human Resources

    Workforce Operations

    Manage, maintain, support, and enhance the pre-employment, orientation, and post-employment processes:

    ·       Work closely with hiring managers to ensure preparation and orientation of new hires is completed effectively

    ·       Audit the pre-employment process for all new hires (ie. review the letter of offer, pre-employment testing results, appropriate job requisitions, forms, etc).

    ·       Centralize, manage, and maintain the background and drug testing process

    ·       Support new hire orientation; identify opportunities to streamline and systematize the new hire paperwork and process,enhancing the new hire experience

    ·       Educate managers on the processes

    ·       Work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition

    ·       Maintain relationships with external vendors(ie background checks)

    Monitor and enhance the separation process;

    ·       Work closely with managers to ensure separation process is completed on a timely and thorough basis

    Ownership of Personnel Files

    ·       Ensure all personnel files are maintained in accordance with both regulatory and bank policies

    ·       Manage the record retention process and ensure compliance with regulations

    Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

    • Manage I-9 process in accordance with USCIS guidelines and BofI procedures including, auditing, filing, tracking, and reverification
    • Collect, monitor and maintain record of all employee fingerprint submissions, utilizing both First Advantage and Livescan vendors
    • Audit data in HR system for accuracy and system integrity( ie reporting lines, status, type, branch number, etc).Work with key stakeholders to ensure ADP is the system of record for bank systems
    • Review and recommend amendments to ensure all pre-employment documentation reflects legal and regulatory changes.
    • Ensure compliance with required postings
    • Maintain and support the enterprise-wide SharePoint PMW system including: audit of all areas (Onboarding, Transfer/Promotion, Separation), user support, enhancement recommendations
    • Completion of new process maps / procedures for new / updated job tasks and maintenance of existing process maps / procedures to ensure they are accurately documented
    • Manage employment verification requests and complete requested forms in a timely manner

    Desired Career Experience

    •  0-2 years previous work experience, preferably in an Human Resources or Workforce function.

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements 

    • Mental agility, enthusiasm and passion as well as curiosity is critical for this role. This position undertakes a wide variety of functions and requires a person who is intelligent with a large dose of common sense. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate good problem solving skills as well as ability to research solutions with minimal guidance.     • Experience with SharePoint and ADP preferred
